Seven centuries of history and beauty
It is an elegant and imposing building located in the municipality of Agliè, in the metropolitan city of Turin. The initial building dates back to the 12th century.
Now state-owned, it is used as a museum and is part of the Canavese castles circuit.
It has been a UNESCO site of the Savoy Residences since 1997.
Because of its romantic charm and old-fashioned beauty, it has been chosen as the set for a number of TV series such as Elisa di Rivombrosa, Beauty and the Beast, and Maria José.
Made from woodland hedges (Buxus sempervirens) dating back to 1867.
Agliè Castle bears witness to more than 7 centuries of Italian and European history.
It is an absolute must-see gem.
